A wedding in Coral Gables

Raquel and Armando were excited about their big day. Their happiness was contagious as they expressed and celebrated their love for one another. All smiles and lots of champagne, these two tied the knot in a loving and beautifully planned gathering. Below are just a few photos outlining the day. Congrats to Raquel and Armando!!

Lorena & Joseph

Lorena initially contacted me to photograph what she said was to be a very small and intimate wedding in Sunny Isles Beach. Ceremony and a luncheon was to extend over a period of a few hours, tops. When I arrived I immediately felt the excitement, adoration and love that both of them have for eachother. Contrary to her description, there certainly was nothing “small” about this wedding! Big love and lots of emotion drenched the one room where ceremony and celebration took place. Congratulations to L&J on their beautiful wedding! Mazel Tov!

Boost Your Productivity

Today I read something that influenced me. On his Personal Development for Smart People blog, Steve Pavlina serves up a generous chunk of useful information about cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT approaches life challenges through adopting a goal-getting lifestyle that lives in the present. 33 Rules to Boost Your Productivity is one of those articles. I guarantee that if you read it, you’re sure to get something out of it.

Bonnet House Museum and Gardens

Saturday’s wedding took place at Ft Lauderdale’s Bonnet House and Gardens. The property was lush with antique art pieces, detailed iron casted colored gates, water fountains, vast green spaces, a serene lake surrounded by palm trees and even their very own tiki hut! I shot with Chantal Lawrie from Blue Studio Miami, a truly talented and innovative wedding photographer. Congratulations to Parsiri and Dave!

A celebrity y’all might know…

Okay, so there I was at an event in Coconut Grove, FL, and all of a sudden when I turn to my right I see the one and only, Michael Jordan standing nothing but ten feet away from me. In that exact instant I did not question if this even WAS the man named “the greatest athlete of the century, or the man who “scored more points than anybody in the all-star game”.. nope, I knew it was him, without a doubt. The real question was, what was I doing in the same room as this guy? Anyhow, after my eyes settled back into their sockets I realized that, of course, Michael is just like any other dude at party. He joined the celebration seamlessly and when he was at his most comfortable, I asked him for a picture. “Michael Jordan, can I please take a picture with you?” … (Smiley face) “Sure” (Smiley face) (Cheese).
